There are folks out there who for one reason or another are on the lookout for vintage greeting cards. It is my guess that these are used for scrap booking or other crafts, but my guess is rather irrelevant. They contain artwork from another era and they're interesting to check out. I recently came across a lot of 1930's - 1940's cards that I've been listing in small lots of ten. Here is a sample to check out.
If you are a scrap booking person and you have not considered using items like this, well, why not? These can give an outstanding period feel for specific pages in your scrapbook.
Lots of these old greeting cards sell extremely well. If you are a buyer, take a close look and see what is available in the greeting card lots. You may find some hidden gems in there.

If you are going to purchase any of these, read the listing carefully and if it isn't mentioned, as the seller whether there is any kind of mildew smell in the lot. I do find a lot of old paper when I go out hitting estate sales and there have been a lot of times when I was thrilled to find some old book or very old papers but then found that they smelled of mildew. You really don't want to pay anyone for a stack of mildewed papers.
